Made up of quartz and iron-rich hematite, crimson healer was first discovered in Brazil but can be found in the US, Switzerland, South Africa and Germany.Crimson Healer is sometimes referred to as Fire Quartz or Crimson Moon - often heat-treated to highlight and intensify the rich, red veins. It's crystalline structure has a crackled appearance in places with fissure lines within and streaks of colour. The presence of stunning rainbow prisms are caused by thin fractures within the stone, promoting happiness and joy and are even thought to relieve depression.
