Mookaite Jasper is a silicified radiolarite, a biogenic sedimentary rock composed of endoskeletons from the early Cretaceous period (about 120 millions years ago). From deep reds to golden yellows, the opaque swirling patterns come from the iron and silica concentrations found at Mooka Creek in Western Australia - the only known locality of this beautiful stone.
Mookaite Jasper has the general qualities we expect from Jasper but is also thought to provide additional balance of inner and outer experiences. The Yin and Yang imparts a desire for new experiences whilst instilling a deep calm with which to approach them. The flexibility offered by Mookaite encourages versatility showing the possibilities but allowing you to choose the right path. Because of its powerful Yin and Yang balancing quality, Jasper in general aligns physical, emotional, and mental bodies with the etheric realm.
